Fara Filiorum Petri’s main church, dating back to the Dark Ages, is found in the main square. Built in the eleventh century, the interior has a Benedictine layout with a nave and two aisles, one of which was later converted into a portico. Parts of the building (the interior and part of the façade) were rebuilt in the eighteenth century. Statues of Saint Anthony Abbot and Saint Benedict, both from the thirteenth century, and a terracotta bas relief depicting an Enthroned Madonna with Child were part of the décor but are now kept in the Diocesan Museum of Chieti. The processional cross is by Nicola da Guardiagrele. The bell tower, in part Medieval and in part (the summit) Baroque (1700s), is decorated with mouldings and carved brick cornices.
